About the Organization: National Small-holder Poultry Development Trust is an apex sectoral organization with mandate to spearhead and nurture community poultry in India. At present there are over 15,000 women poultry producers of Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam & Maharashtra working under its aegis. These women belong to poor tribal and Dalit families of some of the poorest districts in these states. They have been organized in 30 producers organizations, which are further federated into state level secondary organizations. NSPDT is implementing smallholder poultry project in 2 locations (Chandrapur and Gadchiroli) of Vidarbha region of Maharashtra with support of district administrations. Project aims to promote 2000 poultry producers collectivized in 2 producer companies. We are seeking candidate who will anchor the initiative, establish and setting up the system & processes to promote poultry producers collective, facilitating the collective to establish as a member-controlled organization and making these entities economically viable.
