Aga Khan Education

The Aga Khan Education Service, India (AKESI) is a part of the AKES global network that operates over 200 schools and education programs across 13 countries. The Aga Khan Education Service, India (AKESI) was established in India in 1986, but its precursors date back to 1905 when the first Aga Khan School was established in Mundra. Since its inception, AKESI has worked towards enriching the lives of pupils through quality education services and a pluralist philosophy. AKESI now, manages eight schools, a residential hostel, and nineteen Aga Khan Pre-Schools, in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Telangana, catering to approx. 9000 students, from Nursery to Grade 12 across urban and rural regions.
