GoodWeave India is a partner organization of GoodWeave International (GWI), the leading global network of organizations working to stop child labor in global supply chains. As a network of organizations, GoodWeave applies market-based approaches in global supply chains to eliminate child labor and promote better working conditions for adult workers. GoodWeave also offers educational opportunities to at-risk children in worker communities in various states in north India.

The organization currently monitors around 5000 carpets, home textiles, and apparel manufacturing units. More than190 importer companies in 20 countries currently sell GoodWeave certified rugs and home textiles through thousands of retailers worldwide.

The GoodWeave label offers the best assurance that no child, forced, or bonded labor was used to produce certified rugs and home textiles and ensure that a percentage of the purchase price pays for remediation, rehabilitation, and education of children.
