Scrum Master - Chennai - Standard Chartered

Job Description

• Owning and driving key technology deliverables end-to-end

• Engaging closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule.

• Ensuring all the projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

• Having good knowledge of agile process and able to conduct scrums/daily stand-ups

• Pushing agile agenda through better collaboration and communication both within the teams as well as across partner teams

• Running daily scrum of scrums with scrum masters, identify potential issues/risks and escalate appropriately and on-time

• Working with stakeholders including the Executives, Product, Design, Implementation, infrastructure and interface teams to align the project delivery

• Ensuring resource availability and allocation.

• Creating a plan incorporating all the stakeholders delivery plan and own and monitor the plan end to end.

• Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

• Support the release process

• Performing risk management to minimize project risks

• Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements

• BE/MCA - Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers

• Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector, especially in BSFI

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio and Office

• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
