Job Description
ShareResponsibilitiesManage public cloud infrastructure on AzureParticipate in (hybrid) cloud deploymentsPerform ongoing performance tuning and resource optimization as requiredAutomate account and project deployments on AzureReview security groups and firewalls to minimize attack vectorsManage IAM policies and single sign-onParticipate in auditing and security assessments of public cloudDevelop standards and controls for cloud governanceAdhere to operational and change management proceduresIdentify and implement process improvements, utilizing Agile principlesCreate, maintain, document, and implement standards for all operational procedures in public cloudResolve incidents and complete work orders in a timely and courteous mannerWorking directly with key vendors to complete projects and troubleshoot issuesDevelop, enhance, and maintain orchestration and automation using scriptingCapable of managing multiple projects and delivering on-time resultsDefine and communicate production requirements with team and stakeholdersParticipate in technology evaluations, standards and strategy committees, and continuous process improvement Key Qualifications5+ years of experience in managing AzureAdvanced knowledge of access keys, IAM, and cloud frameworkGood understanding of redundant networking designExperience in at least two scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShellWorking knowledge of CI/CD tools and basic administration skills of Jira & ConfluenceExperience working in a fast-paced environmentExperience supporting internal customersAble to work independently with limited supervisionAttention to detail; works tasks to completion, taking full ownership of the outcomeAbility to manage projects to completionEducation and CertificationsBachelors or master?s degree in Computer Science or technology related field Must HaveAzure infrastructure architecting, configuration, and maintenanceMicrosoft SaaS Solutions Management(O365, Sharepoint Online, Dynamics, DevOps)Infrastructure Maintenance ? VMWare, SAN, Networking Hardware, Patch Management, Change ManagementStrong Information Security fundamentalsGood understanding of redundant network architecture and high-availability configurationsDatabase management (both SQL on prem, and Azure implementations)Strong Documentation Skills Nice to HaveFamiliarity with Atlassian Jira CloudSAN Management (Dell Equallogic, Drobo, DataDomain)Experience with service monitoring and messaging tools like Nagios, N-Able, PRTG, etc.Cisco Networking Experience or CertificationsIntune Device Management and Windows Autopilot EnrollmentAWS ExperienceJob Classification
