Job Description

"Cambridge University Press (a global publishing company based in the UK) has recently set up India Operations Centre ( IOC ) at Tech Mahindra's facility in Hyderabad. The staff based in the IOC work as integrated members of global teams that develop and publish (both in print and digital formats), a wide variety of English Language Teaching ( ELT ) and Education materials along with Academic books and journals. A wide range of roles (spanning Editorial, Production, Marketing and Supply Chain Fulfillment) are being created and we are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced team members from publishing as well as non-publishing backgrounds. "

SUMMARY OF THE POST

TThis is a full-time position with time divided equally between brand communications and customer insights tasks. This role will provide valuable support in author and brand communications, providing marketing material for our author platform 'Author Hub', administering our online customer insights panels and supporting report and survey creation. This is a varied and interesting role with some independent working on key projects required as well as excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.

Customer Insight tasks

  • Provide general support for Customer Insights team on reporting, survey creation and desk research as needed
  • Creation and sending of email campaigns, social media assets and other promotional tools to support recruitment for surveys, interviews or other customer insight initiatives
  • Creation of Reports for panel activity including supplying graphs and an executive summary from the Recollective customer insights software (based on template supplied)
  • Processing incentives for each panel including managing prize draws, setting up book orders and contacting panelists by email
  • Panel admin - including approving new members, answering queries from panelists, approving pending comments
  • Creation of marketing resources to support internal and external awareness of Recollective panels (brochures, marketing collateral, social media posts)
  • Recruit new panelists based on segments requiring targeting- recruit via multiple channels such as email, social media and web links. Update panel number by segment spreadsheet and analysis
  • Support sending of Author survey email and basic reporting on NPS scores including updating presentation slides
Brand and Communications tasks

  • Monitoring of analytics and statistics (i.e. monthly web views of our author platform 'Author Hub' and associated guides, engagement with various social media platforms, completion of KPI dashboard, coordination of campaign highlight reports)
  • Work on social media accounts (regular posting, engagement, responding on our social media accounts where appropriate - also managing join requests and queries)
  • Monitoring the Author Hub and Publicity email inboxes, responding to queries or passing on to relevant internal contacts
  • Being a point of contact for video advice and approvals
  • Creation of email campaigns, including collating content for cross-team campaigns, and sourcing contact data lists
  • Facilitating the creation of new PDF guides on Author Hub
  • Liaising with wider brand communications team to produce publicity highlight reports
  • Coordination of content creation (e.g. turning pdf guides into visual animations, podcasts or suchlike, liaising with authors on projects such as case studies, design elements) - dependent on experience
  • Assisting in various elements of larger projects (e.g. re-brands, book fairs and events) - dependent on experience

Required Candidate profile

  • Essential:

    • Experience of working in an office environment
    • Experience working in market research or digital marketing
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft systems including PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
    • Flexible approach to work and ability to work independently
    • Good time management skills
    • Excellent communication skills

  • Desirable:
    • Educated to degree level or above
    • Analytic and creative skills
    • Experience at video creation and editing and creating social media graphics
    • Experience at conducting surveys or other market research
