We are looking for Windows Security Specialist with a good experience in AD, Exchange, Office 365, Vulnerability management, windows security.
Years of Experience: 5+ Years
Job location: Hyderabad
Responsibilities
- Understanding complex technical issues and managing them within a fast-paced business environment
- Maintaining all the software and hardware in relation to security
- Documenting security certification
- Identifying current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities and threats
- Threat intelligence
- Sourcing and implementing new security solutions to better protect the organisation
- Conducting proactive research to analyse security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies
- Designing the configuration of security components of endpoint devices, servers, security and event (SIEM) systems, vulnerability assessment systems, and intrusion detection systems;
- Contributing to the career development of junior staff through mentoring and skill building activities;
- Designing, architecting, and managing endpoint security systems in a large Microsoft environment;
- Working closely with server and endpoint teams to secure systems;
- Responding to escalated security alerts and coordinating responses to incidents;
- Providing tier 3/4 technical support to resolve escalated cybersecurity issues;
- Conducting computer forensics, investigating intrusions, quarantining equipment and working with recovery for digital devices;
- Leading the development and implementation of necessary controls and procedures to protect information and technology assets;
- Building test endpoint device prototypes to assess and analyze system vulnerability;
- Assisting the Chief Information Security Officer with the development of best practices, enforcement measures, policies and procedures; and Remaining current on existing and emerging information technologies
- System vulnerability assessments and remediation, primarily the assessment/deployment of vendor security updates
- Management/Review of systems host security configurations
- Support ongoing and new security/compliance initiatives
- Security incident response and Root Cause Analysis in coordination with other teams across the company and/or externally as required
Work with external partners, vendors, and customers to clearly document and distribute FAQs for knowledge transfer and consistently accurate resolutions. Overall responsibility for the operation and security of the Microsoft environment.
Required Skills:
- Windows Servers and AD Administration + Security of Windows environment
- Experience on VDI environments like VMWare and Citrix
- AWS Workspace Deployment and migration experience
- O365 Deployment and Migration experience
- O365 Security experience
- Strong Hands-On Experience with Active Directory, DNS, ADFS
- Strong Hands-On Experience with all versions of Windows Server
- Azure
- Amazon Web Services (AWS_
- Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Windows Hardening and Compliance
- SIEM- IBM Qradar, Splunk
