Desired Candidate Profile
Job Summary: To ensure uninterrupted supplies of electronic components, to assist in implementing product development and brand plans, machine trials and continuous improvement of vendors, materials and purchasing processes while simultaneously focusing on cost, quality, service delivery and innovation.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
a. To source electronic components and manage electronics material inventories in line with inventory policy
b. To Implement product development plans and effect on-going reduction in lead-time
c. To bring about continuous improvements in quality, cost savings, product enhancement, lead-time reduction and other competitive advantages to the business
d. To coordinate procurement activities with production plans
e. To develop systems to ensure product integrity
f. To ensure vendor conformance to EHS policy and ISO and other required certifications
g. To track new and emerging technologies / products in electronics industry
h. To ensure minimum obsolescence of materials
Job Role:
a) To establish the vendor ecosystem for sourcing of components/ parts including electronic components/ batteries/ Plastic components/ metal components and other specialized parts such as heaters etc
b) To ensure uninterrupted supplies of raw material
c) Assist in product development and establishing relevant sourcing strategies for required products
d) Drive trials and continuous improvement in the areas of cost, quality, service, delivery.
e) To track new and emerging technologies / products in EVD/ EHnB industry ( in the Chinese Ecosystem)
f) To ensure minimum obsolescence of materials

Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, Diploma - Any Specialization, B.B.A / B.M.S - Management
PG: PG Diploma - Any Specialization
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
