Job Description
This position is currently open for the best-in-class cloud-based Business to Business e-commerce product in SAP Ariba. This position also focuses on security and security engineering as it applies to the SAP Ariba OnDemand platform, its software stack, and the underlying infrastructure. The product line is SAP Ariba Procurement Cloud Apps. The primary technology areas are Java, Web, REST, Micro services, Katalon, Angular JS, Spring, Spring Boot and Machine Learning and Analytics on Big Data. Team works on test automation areas like Junit Automation, Rest API Automation, Selenium Web Driver, Protractor and Mobile Automation.
The Role
The engineer will perform end to end quality cycle right from understanding requirements, feature design, testing and automation strategy of software components across global deployments at scale.
The engineer s tasks include but not limited to:
- Qualify the features through manual testing in the early development cycle and automate the flows for regression testing.
- Analyze and decompose various integration points (Simulators) within and outside SAP Ariba s Ecosystem and design a strategy to test and automate them.
- Automate 100% of test cases. Most needs to automate using Junit/TestNg/Rest and few on UI automation.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science with 4+ years of relevant work experience, including development and/or test automation experience.
- Excellent coding & Analytical skill in Java and must have experience in designing and writing JUnit.
- Experience in using any Bug Tracking, Test case management and Version Control Systems.
- Hands on experience with at least one scripting language ex. Perl, Java Script and at least one web-based UI Automation tool ex. Katalon, Protractor, Selenium Web Driver.
