SAP Ariba - Senior Quality Specialist @ SAP India

Summary

This position is currently open for the best - in - class cloud - based Business to Business e - commerce product in SAP Ariba. This position also focuses on security and security engineering as it applies to the SAP Ariba OnDemand platform, its software stack, and the underlying infrastructure. The product line is SAP Ariba Procurement Cloud Apps. The primary technology areas are Java, Web, REST, Micro services, Katalon, Angular JS, Spring, Spring Boot and Machine Learning and Analytics on Big Data. Team works on test automation areas like white box, Junit Automation, Rest API Automation, Selenium Web Driver, Protractor and Mobile Automation.

The Role

The Senior QA Engineer's task include but not limited to:

• Quality assurance of complex product features and end to end workflows in an engineering team which consists for focusing on best in class test design, manual testing, best in class automation and security testing.
• Analyze and decompose various integration points (Simulators) within and outside SAP Ariba?s Ecosystem and design a strategy to test and automate them.
• Automate 100% of test cases using Junit/TestNg/Rest and UI automation.
• Work with peer development, automation and UX engineers
  and architect on the product development.
• Evaluate reported security vulnerabilities and reproduce in development environments, allowing confirmation and validation of engineering fixes.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor?s degree in computer science with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience working in a commercial product development environment, shared services background preferred.
• Proficiency in functional, performance, scale, security and stress testing of cloud - based solutions.
• Hands on experience with at least one scripting language ex. Perl, Java Script and at least one UI Automation tool ex. Katalon, Selenium Web Driver.
• Hands - on experience on large scale Distributed systems and one of the cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Hands on experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, JMeter.
• Good Database concepts and hands on experience with PL/SQL (Preferred) and highly proficient in a Unix/Linux environment and Shell Scripting.
