Senior Quality Specialist- Automation @ SAP India

Summary:

This position is currently open for the best-in-class cloud-based Business to Business e-commerce product in SAP Ariba. The products are Ariba Sourcing, Product Sourcing (Direct Materials), Contract Management, Analytics (Spend Visibility) and Data Enrichment platform. The primary technology areas are Java, Web, REST, Micro services, Angular JS, Spring, Spring Boot and Machine Learning and Analytics on Big Data. Team works on test automation areas like Junit Automation, Spring Boot Automation framework, Selenium Web Driver, Protractor and Mobile Automation.

We have high focus on security aspects of products and will have opportunity work on TLS version support, critical monitoring & alerts, blocking user access when any user tries to login from legally not allowed regions, etc. This creates great opportunity for individual where one gets the chance to enrich their skills altogether to different domain of testing.

The Role

This role includes critical business needs to build innovative automation systems, eliminate dependency on various integration points within and outside SAP Ariba?s Ecosystem by building simulator and build tools to eliminate/reduce manual effort and human errors.

The engineer?s tasks include but not limited to:

• Build innovative, scalable and maintainable automation systems to facilitate both functional and performance testing.
• Build/Enhance advanced automated test framework and suites to qualify our world-class applications.
• Automate 100% of test cases. Most needs to automate using Junit/TestNg/Rest and few on UI automation.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor?s degree in computer science with 8 years of relevant work experience, including development and/or test automation experience.
• Excellent coding & Analytical skill in Java experience in designing framework and writing JUnit tests.
• Experience in using any Bug Tracking, Test case management and Version Control Systems.
• Hands on experience with at least one scripting language ex. Perl, Java Script and at least one web-based UI Automation tool ex. Katalon, Protractor, Selenium Web Driver.
• Good Database concepts and hands on experience with PL/SQL and basic knowledge in handling Unix/Linux environment.
