SAP Ariba - Quality Specialist, Cloud @ SAP India

Job Description

This position is currently open for the best-in-class cloud-based Business to Business e-commerce product in SAP Ariba. You will be part of SAP Ariba Cloud Platform team where we build the Platform and frameworks for the SAP Ariba cloud products. This position also focuses on security and security engineering as it applies to the SAP Ariba Cloud platform and its software stack. The primary technology areas are Java, Web, REST, Microservices, Katalon, Angular JS, Spring, Spring Boot. Team works on test automation areas like Junit, Rest API, Protractor, Beat and Katalon.

The Role:

The QA Engineer will be performing the below tasks but not limited to:

• Quality assurance of complex product features and frameworks developed in Platform team which consists for focusing on manual testing, best in class test design, automation and security testing.

• Owns test plans, qualifies the feature through manual testing and automate 100% of tests using Junit/TestNg/Rest/Beat/Protractor and Katalon.
• Work with the development and test engineering teams to automate testing.
• Build advanced automated test suites to exercise our world-class applications.
• Have or develop knowledge of the TLS protocol and be able to troubleshoot and diagnose handshake issues as we strengthen our TLS protocol support.
• Evaluate reported security vulnerabilities, reproduce and validate the fixes.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent automation skills with Java, JUnit, TestNG, Jenkins and Katalon. Working knowledge of testing scalable web-services based on REST/XML/JSON.
• Experience in working with Microservices and building the CI/CD pipeline for microservices.
• Experience with automating tests (API, library, backend and UI) for services platform and experience in Unix/Linux environment.
• Good in Database concepts and hands on experience with PL/SQL.
• Should have a working understanding of data center-based, service infrastructure and cloud infrastructure-based components.
