- Job Description:
This position reports to the IT Application Manager and is responsible for the design, development, deployment, and support of new and existing applications. The .NET developer will be part of an agile team and will work on developing and maintaining features for a suite of sites and services hosted on AWS cloud.
The .Net Developer will collaborate with the Product and BA teams to comprehend and evaluate business requirements, work with other developers on the development team to come up with technical design and create well document, testable, secure and scalable code to meet business requirements. The Developer will also participate in support rotations to monitor and support applications and provide resolution to support issues.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop multi-tier and server less web applications for customers and internal users using ASP.NET MVC, Vue.js, Angular, LINQ, SQL, jQuery, AWS server less components
Build code (C#, .NET 4.5+, .NET Core 2-3.5) that leverages Web API and Web Services (WCF, REST)
Develop complex database solutions using MS SQL including T-SQL, stored procedures
Develop ETL solutions using SSIS and Informatica Cloud.
Utilize Bootstrap, HTML 5, CSS, Angular, Vue.js, and ASP.Net to implement enterprise web pages and SPA applications
Enhance and support existing application that support day-to-day business activities
Design, develop, maintain and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards
Monitor and optimize systems to ensure best performance
Write unit tests cases using Visual Studio Unit Test Framework.
Integration experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus.
Experience with MVVM frameworks.
Document code appropriately for maintainability
Translate requirements and use cases into technical designs and functional code
Collaborate with different teams and team members on projects
Act as a mentor to other developers with programming issues
Perform design and code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance and application responsiveness
Required Experience:
BS degree in Computer Science or related degree
7+ years with .NET framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, SQL Server, JQuery, WebServices, REST Services
5+ years of experience with SQL server
2+ years experience with Angular 7+

Qualifications:
AWS serverless experience a big plus
Experience with Insurance domain is a plus
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of object-oriented design, distributed systems/architectures, web application architecture, SOA and relational database design
Proficient in web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, .NET, MVC, Vue.js, Angular, LINQ, WCF, Web API, Entity Framework, AWS Serverless applications
Strong understanding of web security concepts (CSRF, XSS, OWASP) and .Net Security
Experience using T-SQL with an ability to write SQL queries, stored procedures and performance tuning
Experience in developing ETL packages using SSIS and Informatica.
Client-side scripting experience with JQuery, Angular, Vue.js
Experience with mocking frameworks like MOQ is nice to have.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio (MVS) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
Experience using Azure DevOps, Git and TFVC
Practical experience with a tier one cloud platforms like AWS
Experience with Windows Services
Experience in third party integrations.
