Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance @ Betterplace Safety

We are hiring talented, experienced, and driven individuals with a strong foundation in Accounts Finance. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing effective accounting processes and manuals, internal controls, compliance to ensure timely and accurate preparation and reporting of financial statements for various business units. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the business together with analytical skills. The part will also be working in close association with Management and Business Leaders.

• A Founders mindset to take up complete ownership of the Finance Function of the company

• Responsible for Bookkeeping, AR, AP, GL.
• Ensuring regular and correct accounting.
• Taxation Tax planning considering statutory compliances.
• Identifying potential areas of cost-saving and implement processes to reap the benefits.
• Implementation and preparation of periodical MIS Reports.
• Management of account receivables and reconciliation there of collating, preparing, and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries, and financial statements.
• Expertise in MS Excel Google Sheets.
• Upholding seamless relationship with external consultants including internal and statutory auditors.
• Maintaining cordial relationships with various statutory authorities/departments viz. VAT, Service Tax, GST, Income Tax, ROC for compliances and assessments.
• Knowledge prior experience of managing Income tax, GST related filings, .
• Knowledge of Indian Payroll with all statutory (PF, PT, Gratuity, TDS, etc.).
• Knowledge of Quick books accounting system.
