Job Description
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other libraries such as RSpec and Resque.
- Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances.
- Experience in Designing, Architecture & Coding of developing web based large scale enterprise applications using technologies like Rails, node.js, Backbone, Bootstrap
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Strong CS fundamentals (proficient in data modeling and algorithms).
- Proficient understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- High proficiency in any programming language in Linux/Unix environment
- Strong in designing - HLD/LLD. Designing for scalable & performance
- Deep passion for solving Business problems.
- Addicted to shipping code, solving problems, and continually iterating.
- Work in collaboration in a fast paced environment with multiple teams.
- Participate in code, design, architecture discussions
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and fluid environment.
- Following best practices with Agile development methodologies like SCRUM, refactoring, Code standards.
- Good understanding of continuous Integration.
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Be an active DEVELOPER along with the team members
- Independently handle the module(s) assigned, besides providing guidance to the team members.
- Perform and drive code, design, architecture discussions
- Responsible for driving technology and best engineering practices in the cross functional team.
- You are expected to mentor Senior & junior engineers
- Drive & manage Technical communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contributes to Open-Source Projects
- Dedication to Quality bug counts are low, code climate scores are high
- Committed to User-Centered Design Principles
- BS / MS / B Tech / BE in Computer Science (or related fields)
