Job Description
- Review the detailed work plan prepared by the System Delivery Leader. Highlight the risks/blockages (if any) with respect to the planning.
- Perform the requirement analysis and raise the OPL (Open points and / or defects) and track them till closure. Follow-up with the requirement engineer for the timely response of the OPs.
- Highlight the risks to the SDL (any risks related to time plan, leaves, license of tools, open queries, HW resources unavailability including the prototypes, CAN HWs etc.) and perform the testing as per the defined timeline
- Adhere to the template to be used for all kinds of documentation and respect the quality of documentation.
- Inform the Team leader in case of need of any particular training and get him/her enrolled.
- Get the work products reviewed by the Team leader and the System Delivery Leader
- Perform exploratory testing and communicate with the SV Design team regarding the defects captured beyond the test cases (i.e. report uncovered test cases by test case design team)
- Report all the defects in the defect management tool with all the necessary information (i.e. JIRA, IBM Change etc.)
- Prepare the test results and base line them after the review in configuration management tool (DOORS etc.)
- Support other projects and utilize the available bandwidth in the most efficient way.
- Support the SDL for the quality gates and participate in the Configuration Management audits when needed.
- Maintain the KPI as per the target. KPIs may be number of test cases done, defects logged etc.
- Work collaboratively with the SDL, Design team and the SV Set up team for smooth deliveries.
- Attend all the weekly/status/CCB meetings without fail.
