Job Description

Support clients in the selection, implementation, and support of the SAP FICO module. This role uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and SAP solution expertise to effectively integrate SAP technology into the clients business environment to achieve the clients expected E2E FICO business processes transformation into SAP S/4HANA. The candidate should have experience of close to 10 years in SAP FICO. SAP Certified candidate would be preferred. The candidate should have done four E2E implementations and one E2E S/4HANA green or brown field implementation. The candidate should have global support/implementation experience.

Duties and responsibilities: The Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAP Finance Controlling to enhance the clients business functionality and overall performance while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

  • Candidate should know SAP implementation methodology i.e. ASAP and Active Methodology.
  • Design, configuration, and testing of core FI/CO modules (GL, New GL functionality, AP, AR).
  • Design, configuration, and testing of Asset Management.
  • Design, configuration, and testing of Consolidations.
  • Design, configuration, and testing of CO-PA.
  • Design, configuration, and testing of Cost center accounting.
  • Design, configuration, and testing of Profit center accounting.
  • Design, configuration, and testing of Product costing.
  • Design, configuration, and testing of the Material ledger.
  • Experience and knowledge of key integration points with FI/CO modules.
  • Ability to configure FICO processes in S/4HANA and should have knowledge of simplification in the FICO module.
  • Deep knowledge of FICO Enterprise structure, Business partner, FSCM, New GL functionality, Material ledger, Taxation, Banking automation, Logistics integrated accounting entries.
  • Deep knowledge of the FICO information system.
  • Hands-on experience of data migration cockpit in S4HANA is a must.
  • Good knowledge of data migration strategy plan.
  • Strong integration knowledge with MM, WM, PP SD modules.
  • Ability to write RICEFW specifications for custom development. Experience on IDOC and third party interfaces are also important.
  • Ability to lead RTR value stream in global implementation. Also able to lead the FICO Team in implementations.
  • Responsible primarily for successful implementation of SAP, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
  • Acts as FICO lead with the client for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree (Preferably in Finance / Accounting).
  • Minimum 8 years of SAP FI/CO configuration experience.
  • Should have four full lifecycle SAP implementation experiences (Project Preparation thru Go-Live and Hyper care) and at least one full lifecycle S/4HANA greenfield implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of Taxation, PL, and Balance sheet.
  • Business knowledge and process design skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Able to collaborate with clients and have a strong desire to excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload.
  • Able to Multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Must be an effective problem solver.
  • Must be willing to travel in America when required.
  • Reading and understanding of ABAP code; preferred real Estate Management, Golden Tax Provide SAP FICO subject matter expertise and project implementation support.
  • Responsible for understanding business / functional requirements.
  • Perform gap-fit analysis between SAP functionality and Business requirements.
  • Model business processes in the FICO area onto the package using prior implementation experience. Post Go-Live of SAP implementation, responsible for supporting end-users on existing business processes on SAP.
