Job Description
- A Network Security professional is responsible for protecting an organization's computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
The job duties typically include:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
- Monitoring network traffic for potential security breaches and taking preventive measures to address identified threats.
- Performing regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential weaknesses in the network.
- Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
- Responding to security incidents and investigations, including forensic analysis and recovery efforts.
- Staying informed of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and updating security measures accordingly.
- Collaborating with other IT and security professionals to develop and implement integrated security strategies.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in network security and a strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Should have experience in Network security and bit of Cybersecurity experience
