Development Architect for PP/DS in SAP S/4HANA

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

A new fully digitized Business Suite - SAP S/4HANA - is a key pillar of SAP s strategy. It is essential for the success of SAP that SAP S/4HANA becomes the most widely adopted business platform in the industry to manage our customers digital transformation.
Our team, Product Engineering S/4HANA Produce - Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), develops innovations that provide our customers highly robust and flexible solutions for managing both in-house production and external procurement while optimizing the utilization of resources. Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model according to the scrum methodology.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a development architect, you will be a vital contributor to the full software development lifecycle and:
Assume responsibility for designing, implementing and testing complete, end-to-end business processes
Collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside the team
Communicate and collaborate professionally with customers and partners
Define business and architectural concepts that are aligned with the team as well as other stakeholders
Embrace responsibility for ensuring high quality in development and maintenance
Assume additional technical, organizational or coordination tasks or roles, as required

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills
Good to excellent bachelor or master s degree in one of the following or related areas:
Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology
Excellent programming skills and experience in:
o ABAP Objects or SAP Fiori
o SQL, HTML5 or Java Script
o SAP development-related tools
Fluent in English
Being a team player

Preferred skills
Analytical excellence and proven ability to master complexity
Expertise in Production Planning or Logistics or Supply Chain Management

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 10 years of working experience in software development (preferably ERP or S/4HANA) or a related area

LOCATION - Bangalore, India

EXPECTED TRAVEL - 0-10%
