User Assistance Developer for PP/DS in SAP S/4HANA

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

A new fully digitized Business Suite - SAP S/4HANA - is a key pillar of SAP?s strategy. It is essential for the success of SAP that SAP S/4HANA becomes the most widely adopted business platform in the industry to manage our customers? digital transformation.
Our team, Product Engineering S/4HANA Produce - Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), develops innovations that provide our customers highly robust and flexible solutions for managing both in-house production and external procurement while optimizing the utilization of resources. Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model according to the scrum methodology.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a user assistance developer, you will:
Create user assistance (UA) deliverables (both text and multimedia) in close collaboration with the development teams, UX designers and other stakeholders to enable users to deploy, administer and use the SAP software
Ensure that the UA deliverables are of high quality, adhere to SAP?s standards and guidelines and are written in appropriate style and tone for product and target audience
Define terminology that is simple, consistent and conforms to industry standards
Proofread and edit content for usability, readability and linguistic correctness

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Good to excellent university degree in technical communication or a related subject or a language-based university degree

Required skills
First-language proficiency in English
The ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner
Outstanding communication, writing and grammar skills
The ability to work to tight deadlines, deliver on time and ensure high quality
A willingness to acquire extensive product knowledge and learn new skills at short notice

Preferred skills
Experience of DITA CMS Ixiasoft
Knowledge in logistics processes (for example, sales, production, delivery)

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years of experience in ERP or S/4HANA
Minimum 2 years of experience as a user assistance developer and technical writing

LOCATION - Bangalore, India

EXPECTED TRAVEL - 0% - 10%

TOTAL EXPERIENCE-3-7 years
