Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Analyst - IT Applications to be part of our fast-growing team with strong experience in process oriented requirements analysis, software specification documentation, identification of Minimum Viable Product, Wireframing and a good sense of User Experience design.
- Efficiently work in a collaborative team environment
- Understand the Clients business requirements and business process flows and then translate them into comprehensive , accurate and quality software requirements.
- Collect and analyze the projects business requirements and transfer that knowledge to the Systems Development team.
- Prepare accurate and detailed Requirements documents , User interface guides , and functional Specification documents
- Communicate effectively with Business Clients and IT staff on functional requirements like Business Rules , Screen layouts , data mapping analysis , system interfaces and GUI designs
- Translate the Business Requirements into System Specifications , documenting data / table requirements , screen layouts , report format and contents , system functional capabilities , etc.
- Escalate any Project related issues or potential impediments to a Projects schedule or deliverable
- Coordinate with the Business and IT teams who are involved in the Testing process and are responsible for validating test results and or follow up on any outstanding testing issues
- Document and manage any Change Requests related to the working Project
- Undertake user acceptance testing internally before project is delivered to the client
- Business analysis and software specification documentation
- Use case diagrams, sequence diagrams
- Wireframing
- UX Designs
- User Acceptance Testing
- Good command over spoken and written English
- Organized and detail oriented
- 3-6 years experience as a Business Analyst for Software Applications
- Hands on with any of the popular wireframing tools like - wireframesketcher, Balsamiq, Mockingbird, pencil or similar tool.
- Agile software development methodologies
- JIRA/TFS or a similar item tracking system
- Hands-on experience with any popular wireframing tool
- Review of Test Plan, Test Design and Test Cases
- Reporting defects and problems that occurred during the test process
- Review of software test evaluation reports
- Guiding and mentoring junior test team members
- Familiarity with SQL queries
- B.E. (IT/Computer Science)
- B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science)
- BCA/MCA
- OR equivalent industry exposure
