Job Description
Adhere to Testing Standards
Understand Quality Concerns
Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality
Contribute as an active Software Tester in the Team to deliver product stories
Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria
Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality
Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing
Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows
Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define Cross-Product Integration Scenarios
Identify requirements for and solutions to Test Data creation
Define, create and maintain Test environments
Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories
Verify that Development changes have no undesired effect on other associated areas of Functionality
Define, implement and execute Test Plans during Development and Delivery phases of the project
Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion
Track Bugs through resolution and implementation
Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition
Skills
Must have
5 years+ of manual QA experience: the candidate shall be knowledgeable in Code Inspection, Manual Testing, Automated Testing, in work with Functional Requirements, in Test Case Design and Execution
Comprehensive knowledge of complex geoscience-related applications and being able to fully conduct integration testing across these applications
Competency in setting up test environments
Experience and knowledge in Geoscience domain
Strong experience with Windows OS
Good knowledge at web performance testing and web security testing
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Boards (subsystem of Azure DevOps), knowledge on how to manage test cases, test plans requirements and bugs
Well developed team work and collaboration skills
Nice to have
Experience in Geosteering would be a strong plus
Experience in Scrum Framework
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server database, being able to create basic SQL server queries to check results in database
Experience with Azure Kubernetes
Microsoft Azure certificate would be a plus
