Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in software development
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products
3 years of experience with software design and architecture
Experience in distributed databases and large-scale distributed systems
Preferred qualifications:
Masters degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Experience in SQL or database internals or storage systems

Napa is used for a wider variety of use cases, enabling data analysis across business critical Google applications, products, and services
It is built to be used by clients at Google, including AdsMob, AdSense, Billing, BidLandscapes, Budget Server, DRX, Play, Payments, Rasta, Google Search App, etc
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Googles flagship products
We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google
These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer
We look across Googles products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems
As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company
Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
Collaborate on planning roadmap
Partner with infrastructure and client teams to guide integrations, Infrastructure productionization and deployment
Develop a large-scale distributed system
Review designs and code of other engineers for quality and correctness
