MBOM Pilot

Exp- 4 to 6 yrs

Location- Chennai

Np- 15days to Immediate

Create and maintain the Manufacturing Bill of Material in SAP in accordance with Engineering BOM inputs, Assembly process and other production inputs.

Ensure data consistency to ensure that vehicles built are consistent with the features list and to avoid disturbances in Production line due to parts missing in MBOM or wrong data.

Collaborate with the Design engineer to ensure the quality of MBOM.

Pilot and attend scheduling meeting with all the departments involved in change processes.

Release EC Notice to all stakeholders to inform about MBOM changes.

Lead the audit of Engineering BOMs vs Manufacturing BOM, noting significant errors that may result in shortages or cost discrepancies, communicating as appropriate to update Engineering BOM as required

Support Change Management Meetings, liaising with Change Coordinator to effect changes into BOM once approved.

Support Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Marketing and planning to identify and resolve product configuration control issues.

Educational Qualification

BE / B Tech (Mechanical or Automobile Engineering)

Skill Description

Mandatory Skills / Proficiency Required Automotive Background

Good SAP knowledge preferable (PP,MM)

Expertise in Macros, Excel & PowerPoint

Strong attention to detail

Strong communication skills

Motivation to learn, improve processes and procedures

Desirable Skills / Proficiency Required Understanding of PLM / PDM systems

Bonus Skills / Proficiency Required
