Job Description

Baggage porters, also known as bellhops, bell attendants, or guest services attendants, mainly work in hotels to assist patrons with their luggage to and from their rooms. They can also be asked to arrange taxis and run errands, such as picking up dry cleaning and giving directions.

  • Liaise with the concierge and front desk team to ensure awareness of any large groups or VIPs arriving on any given day.
  • Greet all guests professionally and in a friendly manner and assist them with their luggage,
  • Collaborate with the front desk to ensure that any unclaimed luggage is identified and taken to the correct room.
  • Keep a schedule of check-out times and ensure guests' bags are collected and stored securely in the reception area, ready for their departure.
