Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain iOS applications using Swift
• Implement accessibility improvements to ensure a seamless experience for users with disabilities
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure accessibility compliance
• Utilize VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, AssistiveTouch, and other iOS accessibility tools to enhance user experience
• Optimize application performance and ensure compatibility with iOS accessibility standards

Preferred candidate profile

• iOS Developer with 3-4 years of experience in Swift programming to enhance and implement accessibility features in our iOS applications.
• Understanding / experience of Apple's accessibility guidelines will be desirable
• Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Optional but preferable - Experience implementing VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and other accessibility features
• Optional but preferable - Familiarity with Apple's Accessibility APIs and best practices.
• Experience with unit testing and debugging tools for iOS applications.
