Job Title: Innovation Lead Location: Goregaon, Mumbai Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to spearhead our Innovation Labs. As the Head of Innovation Labs, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's future by identifying, evaluating, and implementing cutting-edge technologies that have the potential to transform the general insurance landscape. You will be responsible for building a high-performing team of innovators, fostering a culture of creativity and experimentation, and ultimately, delivering solutions that enhance the customer experience, optimize operations, and create new revenue streams. Responsibilities: Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Innovation Labs, aligning it with the company's overall business objectives. Identify and research emerging technologies (GenAI, Blockchain, IoT, Computer Vision, etc.) relevant to the insurance industry. Evaluate and select promising technologies for prototyping and experimentation. Build and lead a team of talented innovators, data scientists, engineers, and designers. Create a collaborative and inclusive environment that fosters creativity, risk-taking, and rapid learning. Develop and manage the Innovation Labs budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Partner with cross-functional teams (business, marketing, product) to pilot and scale innovative solutions. Track, measure, and communicate the impact of the Innovation Labs on key business metrics. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, actively participating in relevant conferences and communities. Represent the Innovation Labs at industry events and conferences. Maintain a strong understanding of the regulatory environment and ensure compliance with all applicable laws. Qualifications: To excel in this position, you should possess: 10+ years of experience in innovation management, technology strategy, or a related field. Preferably with Start-up experience (Either worked or headed a Startup) Proven track record of successfully identifying, developing, and launching new technologies or products. Deep understanding of the general insurance industry and its current challenges and opportunities. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Passion for innovation and a willingness to experiment and take calculated risks. Experience building and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business) required.
