Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced and dedicated International Travel Agent who specializes in booking international flights for clients. In this role, you will assist clients in planning their international air travel, providing expert advice on flight options, schedules, and routes, and ensuring they have a smooth travel experience. You will use your knowledge of global airlines, pricing, and travel regulations to offer the best possible solutions for our customers. Key Responsibilities: International Flight Booking: Research and book international flights for clients based on their travel preferences, budget, and schedules. Handle all aspects of flight reservations, including seat selection, meal preferences, and any special requests. Client Consultation: Provide expert advice to clients regarding the best flight routes, layovers, and connections based on their destination, budget, and time constraints. Fare Comparison & Ticketing: Compare prices across various airlines and booking platforms to find the best flight options for clients. Issue tickets and handle cancellations or modifications as necessary. Customer Service: Address and resolve any issues or changes related to flight bookings. Provide assistance in case of flight cancellations, delays, or rerouting, ensuring clients have an optimal travel experience. Flight Itinerary Management: Create and maintain detailed flight itineraries for clients, ensuring all travel logistics (flights, layovers, connections) are clearly outlined and communicated. Upselling and Ancillary Services: Recommend and sell additional services such as seat upgrades, extra luggage, travel insurance, or airport transfers to enhance the client's flight experience. Documentation Assistance: Advise clients on any necessary travel documents for international flights, such as visas, passport validity, and health requirements (vaccinations, etc.). Coordination with Airlines: Establish and maintain strong relationships with airlines to stay informed of the latest deals, promotions, and updates on flight availability.
