Role Description An Interior Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and executing interior spaces in both new and renovated buildings, ensuring they meet functional, aesthetic, and safety requirements. Qualifications Space Planning, Architecture, and Construction Drawings skills Interior Design and FF&E expertise Experience in designing and drafting architectural plans Knowledge of building codes and regulations Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience with 3D modeling software is a plus Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field Key Responsibilities: Design interior spaces, incorporating both permanent architectural details and temporary elements to enhance functionality and aesthetics. Understand and assess client requirements through regular meetings, ensuring designs align with their vision. Create sketches, drawings, and floor plans using CAD software and hand-drawing techniques to illustrate design concepts. Develop idea boards and mood boards to communicate visual aesthetics and concepts to clients. Select design strategies, color palettes, and materials to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing environments. Modify architectural elements, arranging furnishings, artwork, and dcor to optimize interior space functionality. Plan and manage project budgets, including material procurement and labor costs. Establish and oversee project timelines, ensuring smooth coordination between vendors, contractors, and work teams. Manage relationships with both local and international vendors, negotiating pricing for materials and labor while ensuring quality compliance. Handle import/export logistics and vendor agreements for sourcing high-quality materials from global markets. Maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, painters, upholsterers, and building inspectors to ensure seamless execution of projects. Participate in networking opportunities and actively contribute to expanding the client base. Stay updated with global trends, innovations, and sustainable practices in interior design and architecture. Ensure compliance with national and international building codes and safety regulations. Read, interpret, and analyze blueprints and technical drawings. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and global market awareness to curate inspiring and functional interior spaces while effectively managing international/domestic vendor relationships.,
