Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and other key stakeholders to design scalable, robust, and efficient solutions for our products. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring that our products are architected for success, from concept to deployment. This role will require a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, systems integration, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design Architecture:
- Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and high-performance software solutions.
- Collaborate with product management and development teams to define the technical roadmap and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Create architecture blueprints, diagrams, and high-level designs that reflect system components, integration patterns, and dependencies.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineering, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery of the solution.
- Provide expert advice on best practices, emerging technologies, and industry standards to internal stakeholders.
Technical Leadership:
- Guide and mentor engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, from design to deployment, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
- Perform code and design reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
Drive technical decision-making, balancing trade-offs between time-to-market, cost, and quality.
Requirements Analysis Feasibility Studies:
- Analyze business and functional requirements to design technical solutions that meet customer needs while aligning with the companys strategic vision.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed solutions.
System Integration API Design:
- Design and implement integration strategies for third-party systems, databases, and APIs.
- Ensure that solutions can scale effectively and integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
Performance, Security Compliance:
- Ensure that solutions are designed with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Advocate for performance tuning and optimization strategies across product components.
Documentation Reporting:
- Produce comprehensive documentation on system architecture, design patterns, and workflows.
- Create and deliver technical presentations to stakeholders, including executives and clients.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to ensure that solutions remain innovative and competitive.
- Champion process improvements and innovation within the architecture team and across the organization.
- Experience: 6-10 years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 4 years in a senior/lead capacity in a product-driven organization.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
Expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and serverless computing.
Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong background in distributed systems, data architectures, and enterprise integration.
Experience with modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps).
Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.).
- Problem-Solving Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into innovative technical solutions.
- Leadership Communication: Proven ability to lead technical teams, facilitate collaboration, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Business Acumen: Ability to align technology solutions with business goals and understand the broader impact of technical decisions.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing relationships with senior business and technology leaders.
- Innovation Focused: A passion for exploring new technologies and fostering innovation within the development process.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Ability to design solutions with a deep focus on user needs and product usability.
