Mandate Skills

Embedded Testing

Automation testing with Python script/Programming

Industrial / IOT / Home / Build Automation Domain only

Required Skills:

Experience in testing embedded software at all levels of product development

Good working knowledge of various serial communication protocols - UART, HART, RS-485, GPIO, etc

Hands-on testing experience on sensors, Gateways, Scada platforms (anyone)

Hands-on expertise on Python for Test cases scripting

Knowledge on Test Automation frameworks - PyUnit, Pytest (anyone)

Technology stack / protocols - Modbus, BacNet, Profinet,

Ability to think and work logically to create test plans for software programs and consistently carry out test plans fully

Desired Skills:

Experience in Industrial Automation & IoT Embedded Systems (BMS, Controllers, etc)

Testing of Microcontroller, IoT devices

Embedded Test tools - DAQ, simulators,

Troubleshooting & de-bugging, Triaging

Good communication, self-starter

Roles and responsibilities/What You'll Do

Test Strategy, Product Testing on embedded products

Develop new testing techniques/methods and provide process improvement recommendations

Customer interface and Technical management

Test Automation plan for test scenarios

Contribute to Test proposal preparation, detailed estimation and articulations

Responsible for competency initiatives and supporting junior team members
