Job Description:Summary
Assists in developing, interpreting and implementing financial and accounting concepts including budgeting, trending, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Profile:
- Smart, articulate, passionate presentable client-facing Business Analyst in the Cards and Payments domain.
- Educated to Degree or post graduate degree Level. MBA s from premier universities preferred.
- Work experience as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services Industry for minimum 6 Years.
- 3-5 years Cards and Payment Issuing and/or Merchant Acquiring experience as a Business Analyst.
- Prior experience of working on process analysis and design within the Cards and Payments domain.
- Strong experience of designing industry Cards and Payments processes and procedures to meet business outcomes.
- Experience in virtual cards/card-less procedures, mobile payments, e-wallets and smartphone as a card reader
- Ability to develop and establish processes, define operational procedures to meet client objectives.
- Clear communication and strong documentation skills to create process documentation.
- Outcome driven, and customer focused to provide the client product management team inputs to improve the product.
- Ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders to drive processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for process design and documentation
- Customer facing role to establish cards and payments processes- card issuing and/or merchant acquiring.
- Design reconciliation and settlement processes both on the consumer side and on the merchant side.
- Design processes complaint with Payment industry security standards such as EMV, PCI-DSS, Tokenization, 3D secure etc.
- Process design governing onboarding of a new client to the payment system.
- Participate in internal and external meetings to agree processes, new ways of working and improvements all to improve the payment service and/or reduce cost.
- Develop and document operational processes to operate in the future mode of operations post payments platform implementation.
- Support creation of payment knowledge repository of the in-scope payment systems for the business operations team for reference.
- Act as the Subject matter experts for the client wrt. the implemented payment product as well as the wider cards and payments industry.
- Experience of using Payments data to drive customer spend analytics and Merchant portfolio analytics
2. Support cards and payments product management and upgrades of the client products.
- Analyse client requirements to arrive at functional specifications for a new product/upgrade to an existing card product
- Drive Continuous Quality and Productivity improvements across Products.
- Analyse the impact of any proposed change in cards and payments processes/products.
3. Communication and reporting.
- Excellent teamwork required to work with the wider DXC program team and third-party vendor teams.
- Conduct and/or participate in service reviews with the client and DXC executive management.
- Communicate project/program/service status and issues to the DXC Project Manager.
- Provide clear communication to the delivery teams in periodic meetings.

- Good verbal and written communication skills, strong command of English Language. Must be able and prepared to make Decisions in a difficult and pressured environment.
