Job Description

Permanent Position for Network Engineer in MNC Company - Mumbai

Experience: 2-4 yrs

Notice Period: 30 days or less

Shift timing Rotational Shifts (24*7 )

Certification CCNA/ CCNP/ CCSA/ CMNO (Mandatory)

Skill Set: Hands on experience on Cisco Devices, Nexus, Wireshark/Sniffer analysis, (DMZ design, IPSec, proxies, RADIUS, Network intrusion detection sensors & Prevention & Vulnerabitlies remediation

Job Description

• L1 engineer will proactively monitor tools and work on alerts received via email or by proactively watching the Monitoring Screens.

• Bandwidth monitoring / Alerts for any link that exceed beyond the defined capacity.

• Acknowledge alerts identified them in the Monitoring tools and check whether those alerts requires attention or is false positive.

• Log tickets in the ITSMC against the alerts and notify IRT about the issue.

• Check Solarwinds with regards to the alerts and immediately notify the vendor and raised ticket if an automatic ticket is not raised for the alert in the client portal.

• Follow up with Vendor over the email or call and notify IRT about the current status of the issue.

• Forward tickets to respective vertical engineer and follow up for closure.

• Perform VLAN changes across the globe for (P5 tickets)
