Job Description:
Skill 1: Analyst Data Developer
Job purpose:
Resource will be part of Reporting and Visualization team (Operations Analytics group) and involved in Database development, Data Wrangling and ETL activities contributing to Analytics Projects and Paid POVs for Infosys BPM analytics.
Duties and responsibilities
- Participate in business requirements discussions with the different operations teams
- Experience in interacting with business users, self-starter ready to work with minimal inputs
- Analyzing the requirements and document the requirement analysis
- Come up with Development plan and individual task estimation
- Development and Implement Database design, ETL and prepare database for Visualization and analytics
- Should have knowledge on performance optimization, SQL Tuning, perform system level and application level tuning
- Document requirements post completion of projects
- Provide support to end users once tools are deployed
- Provide feasibility analysis for projects undertaken.
Qualifications:
Qualifications include:
- Education: Engineer Background with IT, Computers or any other field with relevant experience
- Experience:
- Hands on experience with Data warehouse and database development (3-6 years) using any of the leading database systems.
- Hands on experience with Database development (min 3 years), Sql and Analytical Sql Queries with any of the leading databases e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sql Server, Teradata etc.
- Hands on with Data wrangling and ETL activities
- Familiar with Reporting tools like Tableau, PowerBI etc.
- Team Player, Good Communication and Analytics skills.
- Professional Certification: Good to have Database (Any) certification
- Experience:4-7 Years.
Skill 2: Associate Analyst Reporting Services.
Job Description:
This role will be responsible for automation and delivery of Reporting services as part of a Shared Services team to large multinational clients. Key tasks include:
Timely & error-free delivery of assigned reports, quick response to client queries
- Managing the change request
- Automation of reports using VBA macro and advanced excel
- Execute Change requests for reports being delivered
- Assess reports for improvement opportunities and/or execute improvement ideas.
Responsibilities & Activities Description
- Execute & Debug ETL packages (SSIS/Informatica)
- Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution
- Provide support and fix issues in the packages
- Effectively query a database to check data quality
- Ensure the best possible performance and quality in the packages
- Provide support and fix issues in the packages
- VBA (Visual Basics for Applications) - Develop and maintain Excel macros, Excel/Access-based, VB Script apps, web based macro and mainframe automation
- Tableau Report Refresh and Publishing
- Knowledge of designing and building complete ETL (SSIS, Informatica) processes moving and transforming data for ODS, Staging, and Data Warehousing
- Intermediate Knowledge of SQL server / Oracle, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), SSIS /Informatica.
- Writes advanced SQL including some query tuning
- Experience in the identification of data quality
- Some database design experience is helpful
- Knowledge of VBA / VB Scripts to be able to write modules from scratch, including ability to make user forms, objects and worksheets and all powered by VBA macros
- Knowledge of Salesforce is advantage
Shift Timings:
- AEST Timing (3.30 AM IST 1:00 PM IST) MUST
Work Experience:
- 2+ years experience in ETL , Database development
- 2+ years of experience in VBA development
- Experience in Telecom / Sales & Marketing operations functional domains preferred
Education:
Graduate(BE/BCA/BSc), Post Graduate(MCA/MSc)
Skill 3: BIG DATA + AWS + DATABASE.
Education: Bachelor Degree/MBA/Eng./B.Tech/MS in Comp Science, Engineering Data Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, related fields
Key Responsibilities:
- 2+ years of experience in designing, creating, testing and maintaining the complete data management & processing systems using RDBMS or Hadoop ecosystem or AWS
- Working closely with the stakeholders & solution architect.
- Ensuring architecture meets the business requirements.
- Building highly scalable, robust & fault-tolerant systems.
- Taking care of the complete ETL process.
- Discovering data acquisitions opportunities
- Finding ways & methods to find value out of existing data.
- Improving data quality, reliability & efficiency of the individual components & the complete system.
- Creating a complete solution by integrating a variety of programming languages & tools together.
- Creating data models to reduce system complexities and hence increase efficiency & reduce cost.
- Introducing new data management tools & technologies into the existing system to make it more efficient.
- Setting & achieving individual as well as the team goal.
Technical Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in SQL-based technologies (e.g. MSSQL/MySQL/ Oracle DB)
- 2+ years experience with the core AWS services like EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, AutoScalingGroups, Route 53, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudFront, SNS, and RDS.
- Past experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda is a plus. For example, the Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM).
- Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem and different frameworks inside it HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Apache Pig, Hive, Flume, Sqoop, ZooKeeper, Oozie, Impala and Kafka
- Real-time processing Framework (Apache Spark)
- Programming Languages: Python/R/Java
- ETL/Data warehousing Solutions (Alteryx/Informatica)
