No matter what industry they work in, quality assurance assistants share a single goal: to ensure that all company procedures and products meet internal quality standards as well as external regulations. Quality assurance assistants work with other staff to make sure procedures and products adhere to established quality standards, maintain legal compliance, and satisfy customers.This position usually works in-office, but often involves moving around the business site, including to the manufacturing floor. These assistants typically report to the quality assurance manager and, depending on the size of the company, usually work on a team.
