INFOSYS BPM is hiring Oracle DBA, SQL DBA and Linux / Unix Administrator. Please find the details below.

Minimum qualification: Any graduate (10+2+3 Years of regular education).

Skill 1 : Oracle DBA:

Job Description:

Supports the day to day availability and performance of Oracle Databases including the ability to troubleshoot and isolate moderate to complex databases

Proposes and implements complex database enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the database. Manages the database configurations

Installing, configuring, and testing different Oracle databases Oracle 9i,10G,12C

Provides 24x7 support on a rotating basis is required and responsible for performing the job in accordance Client vision and values

Roles and responsibilities:

Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, replication management, problem triage, and backup/recovery.

Participate in performance, capacity and scalability analysis and planning for both existing systems and new initiatives.

Setting and maintaining standards, policies and procedures from an operations perspective supporting enterprise databases.

Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the Database through Database Tuning using Tuning Queries, SQL Tuning advisor, Tuning Applications and Tuning Memory.

Ensure clear and concise monitoring and altering requirements for all database implementations.

Communication and coordination with internal and external facing vendors/departments.

Recommending infrastructure enhancements/changes to improve existing products/services and/or reduce internal costs.

Preparation of root cause analysis documentation and follow-up communication.

Adhere to SLAs and make sure all incidents and requested are resolved within the SLA.

Required industry experience:

2 - 4+ years of Oracle Database administration experience.

Required technical experience

2+ years minimum experience in Installation, Migration, licensing Oracle 9i,10G,12C databases

Experience in storage planning, memory planning, storage allocation, configure database as per company standards.

Expertise in Oracle Data Guard and standby databases, troubleshoot the log shipping issues and logs maintenance.

Knowledge in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is a must. Experience in TOAD/ DB Artisan, SQL Developer and ODBC configurations.

Experience in Oracle RAC environment in oracle 11g that includes requirements gathering, Hardware planning, OS installation, Cluster ware installation, configuring ASM disks, configuring network for RAC and grid installation is an advantage.

Expertise in Performance tuning the production database towards optimal performance

Experience in Database Maintenance, Patch Management, Applications Support and Job Scheduling. Provide support per project needs; investigate

Experience in data and schema refresh activities

Expertise in backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and with datapump utility.

Patching the Oracle home through Opatch utility and oracle home upgrade in 10g/11g/12c environments.

Strong trouble shooting, problem solving, analytical and design skills.

Good knowledge on SHELL Scripting, UNIX Commands to identify the OS level database parameters and resolve issues.

Skill 2: SQL Database Administrator:

Job Description:

Supports the day to day availability and performance of SQL Databases including the ability to troubleshoot and isolate moderate to complex databases

Proposes and implements complex database enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the database. Manages the database configurations

Installing, configuring, and testing different SQL databases 2005,2008,2012,2014,2016

Provides 24x7 support on a rotating basis is required and responsible for performing the job in accordance Client vision and values

Roles and responsibilities:

Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, replication management, problem triage, and backup/recovery.

Participate in performance, capacity and scalability analysis and planning for both existing systems and new initiatives.

Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools is essential

Experience in Database Maintenance, Patch Management, Applications Support and Job Scheduling. Provide support per project needs; investigate

Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations.

Experience in data and schema refresh activities

Experience with backups, restores and recovery models

Knowledge of SQL Server tools

Experience in vulnerability and Patch management

Strong trouble shooting, problem solving, analytical and design skills.

Good knowledge on PowerShell Scripting and commands to identify the OS level database parameters and resolve issues

 

Skill 3: AIX-Linux-Unix Administrator.

Job Description:

Supports the day to day availability and performance of operational support systems including the ability to troubleshoot and isolate moderate to complex system/application issues for AIX/Linux/UNIX/Solaris based operating systems and hardware.

Proposes and implements complex system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.

Manages the configuration of the system. Supports the rollout of complex projects that impact operational support systems. Installing, configuring, and testing different produce sets on Linux operating systems

Provides 24x7 support on a rotating basis is required and responsible for performing the job in accordance Client vision and values

Roles and responsibilities:

To perform implementation, administration, configuration, monitoring, updating and documenting assigned enterprise servers

Application/OS upgrades, performance tuning, problem resolution, storage administration, security administration, capacity planning, policy administration, change management, disaster recovery, backup planning and systems analysis

Assessing and identifying appropriate solutions to be integrated into the companys server operation and make recommendations for implementation

Mentor lower experiences technicians as well as serve as primary contact for Application Owners of key systems

Troubleshooting hardware and software issues and documenting results

Installing, configuring, and testing different produce sets on AIX/Linux operating systems.

Required industry experience:

2-4+ years experience in AIX/Linux/Unix/Solaris and server technologies

Required technical experience

Expert knowledge of Linux and Unix operating system including RedHat 6 ,AIX 6+, Solaris and newer versions

Server software/OS build, decommission and patch maintenance

Knowledge in Scripting Primary: Python, Ansible Secondary skills: Perl/Shell

Good understanding of Security and Networking concepts

Experience installing OS, managing domain user accounts and managing server farms

Experience troubleshooting various systems to include Linux /Unix server technologies

Experience with Virtualization and Cloud Computing platforms (VMware, Cisco, Microsoft and EMC)

Experience with Dell and Cisco (UCS) server hardware and management tools.

Required functional experience

Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical skills

Planning and Co-ordination skills  

Qualification Required: - Any graduate (10+2+3-year full time education).
