Responsibilities
To Implement sound purchasing policies, systems and procedures in accordance with Company standards.
To monitor vendors for quality, service and price through standard purchasing specifications.
To obtain competitive quotations for Flight Kitchen requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased.
To analyze foreign objects complaints with the Quality Assurance Manager and the user department and follow up on actions to reduce the same.
To conduct a market survey of perishables and provisions once a month and generate a report that will form the basis of future negotiations with the suppliers to strengthen Vendor Development.
To ensure that all authorized or approved purchase orders are sent to their respective suppliers/vendors for delivery purposes on a daily basis.
To attend purchase meets, Committees, Central Purchase Committee and prepare reports.
To monitor and generate various reports e.g. Cost Saving, slow moving goods, pending orders, cancellations, Daily expense, daily bazar, consumption etc.
To handle various Airline and non-Airline, Vendor, Government Audits, documentation and proper quotations are maintained and filed according to Policy and Procedure requirements.
To attain and comply the checklist related to ISO 9001 regarding Purchase.
Responsible for all administrative functions of the Materials Department, staffing, training and execution of other related duties.
Responsible for all purchasing functions, quotations, quality and availability.
Liaison with the Executive Chef, Receiving and Stores Manager, Financial Controller, F&B Cost Controller etc.

Graduate or diploma in business studies or MBA or purchasing and supply. With good knowledge of MS office suite and Materials management software (MMS)
