Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY -
Responsible for effective functioning of all Finance activities including Book of Accounts, Balance Sheet,
Profit & Loss and filing it with the Registrar Of Companies. He/she will be responsible for planning,
budgeting and forecasting for the organization. The position calls for supervision of business MIS,
planning, decision making and execution of the company's strategic plan and operations. The individual
will play a key role in building and strengthening the working relationship with regulators, bankers and
auditors and will need to ensure that all financial activities are compliant with the statuary audit
requirements
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES -
Strategic Partnering
* Advise the Management on financial implications and risks related to key issues and strategic
decisions
* Track and keep the key stakeholders (Senior Finance Manager, executive leadership etc.)
posted on the ongoing financial condition of the organization
Financial Operations
* Follow guidelines for budget and forecast preparation, and prepare budgets in consultation with
the Management and prescribed norms of the organisation
* Lead the actual vs forecast and forecast vs budget variance activity and make suitable
recommendations to business
* Responsible for effective functioning of Finance activities including Book of Accounts, Balance
Sheet, Profit & Loss and filing it with the Registrar of Companies
* Inter company Reconciliations and Foreign Remittance
* Supporting Bank Guarantee preparation and records
* Ensure that all regulatory reporting and compliance obligations are met in a timely manner.
* Ensure that financial activities are compliant with the statuary audit requirements
* Handling tax litigations and overseeing all direct and indirect tax implications on business. Stakeholder Management
* Maintain strong relationships by sharing appropriate financial information on a regular basis
* Play a key role in building and strengthening the working relationship with regulators, bankers and auditors.
* Carry out people management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Required Candidate profile
Well versed with all Finance activities including Book of Accounts, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and filing it with the Registrar Of Companies.
