Job Description

Interfacing with business stakeholders for requirements management, prioritisation and documentation.
Translate Product concept to business / system requirements define functional non-functional requirements
Interacting with the technical teams to ensure that the requirements are clear and well understood
Work with the delivery / implementation teams to provide domain inputs and to ensure delivery and implementation of the proposed solution
Develop Concept Paper for new initiatives, define and document Business Requirements including Current Business State, Future Operating Model, proposed changes, business benefits and process changes
Be the bridge between business and project team during all phases of SDLC
Ability to work in Waterfall, Iterative or Agile methodology of SDLC
Act as Agile Product Owner for a given Payment module, responsible for managing product backlog sprint deliverables. Define Epics and User stories. Validate and accept delivered product.
Review test strategy and test cases and provide constructive feedback to enhance quality of UAT.
Drive standardization of systems / processes to ensure a Scalable Operating model is in place
Outline Business Implementation and drive activities such as of Business communication, and Training for new rollouts.
Collaborate with CMO teams across SCB locations to measure the impact and efficiency of new product launches, system enhancements and other process changes.
Work with Delivery and project services organizations as well as other IS and vendor organizations in ensuring requirements are transformed into effective solutions with-in cost and schedules and quality adhering to the bank s standards, guide-lines and policies.
Involve in high level technical design/implementation discussions and contribute
Ensure gaps in deliverables are identified early and addressed effectively
Define processes and controls to be implemented, to cater for evolving industry requirements and system changes within the organisation
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Candidate should be a Subject matter expertise on Payments with experience in working on Payment systems / process transformation programme.
Payments Operational expertise in the area of Cross border and Domestic payments (RTGS, ACH and Faster Payments), Nostro / Suspense reconciliation and Clearing settlements.
Ability to define processes, controls, identify risks and define mitigating controls for new system changes.
Experience in reviewing and assessing impact on payment processing due to change in external guidelines and other unit policy changes
7 -10 years of relevant experience in banking and/ or technology industry.
Experience in working on Agile model and experience as Product Owner for Payments module is expected.
Working knowledge in Agile tools - Confluence / Jira
Candidate with CSPO Certifications is recommended
Experience working in complex and highly demanding organisations to lead and deliver change management initiatives
Hands on team player with strong change management, analytical and problem solving skills with an eye for detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate and work dynamically with geographically dispersed and multi-cultured stakeholder base at all levels, including senior stakeholders
Disciplined executor with ability to effectively prioritise and execute multiple tasks and adaptive to changing situations
Inquisitiveness to continually learn and apply the learning for betterment of bank s service to the clients
Energetic, creative, passionate about doing things better with proven ability to influence change and decision making at senior level.
