Are you the one we are looking for
We are inviting applications for the role of Manager, Statistical Modeler
Position requires in depth knowledge of advanced statistical, mathematical, risk, and behavior modeling theories and techniques.
Logical thinking, ability to work with ambiguous data and self-starter, ability to convert a business question into analytical question
Model development, design, testing, implementation, validation and other ad-hoc analytics in the company core modeling space.
Testing and measure effectiveness of entire new statistical approaches as well as process improvements.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualification:
Master s degree in statistics, economics, or a quantitative science, with substantial coursework in statistics and experimental design
Knowledge on Statistics and Tools:
Statistics:
Experience in some or all of the following: advanced analytical methods such as supervised and unsupervised machine learning, predictive modeling, link analysis, natural language processing, text mining and unstructured data analysis is required.
o Rich professional experience using SAS products (Base, EG, Enterprise Miner, etc.) or Python to design and develop functional applications and systems of medium to high technical complexity
Tools:
o Proficiency with SAS products (Base, EG, Enterprise Miner, etc.), R, or Python (with certification) or V7 or higher-certified
o Strong working knowledge in presenting quantitative data via PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Preferred Skills:
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
Strong oral and written communication skills required to effectively and concisely present key findings to senior management/ Client is a must
