Job Description
This position requires working in a team who are specialized to work on HVAC projects. This requirements are for Expanding the Engineering Office established to serve a Large Contracting Corporation(ACS system associates) with a large Number of Multi Million $$ Contracts in New York City and its vicinity.
Contracts include Citi Group HQ, United Nations, World Trade Center, UAE Mission to UN in New York, State University of New York, among many others.
This Job specifically involves the following key roles and responsibilities.
Must understand Submittal Reviews and Procedures in Engineering / Contracting World
Excellent HVAC knowledge and with expertise to
Auto Cad and BIM.
Must possess excellent written and verbal
communications skills.
Ensure that the Submittals / Shop Drawings
comply with the Plans and Specifications.
Prepares engineering drawings from rough sketches or from general engineering and design
information using BIM/CAD platforms.
Establish Systems for Bill of Materials / Quantity Take Off for various phases /parts of our projects,
specially piping.
Duties as assigned by the Mechanical Engineering
HVAC discipline lead.
Uses time and resource efficiently and effectively.
Creates and maintains effective working
relationships with supervisor, colleagues, clients,
visitors and public-at large.
Should have a flawless accent in English.
