What you ll be doing
The Competency Framework Research Implementation Specialist is responsible for designing the competencies, skills, and behavioral framework that serve as a core input and foundation to Hitachi s Talent Management and Business strategies. They work closely with the Global HR COEs along with Business Leaders and Subject Matter Experts to clearly define skills, knowledge, and behavioral expectations for employees. The work the Specialist is a critical input for all HR COEs.
This role will be a mixture of remote working and based from Hitachi s office in Bangalore.

Partners with the Talent Management COE and the Business to define talent capabilities, competencies, and/or skills required to execute on business strategies
Collaborates with the Learning Design Delivery team to drive competency-based upskilling and continuous learning
Conducts market research and intra-Hitachi analysis on competency and skills, including observation of high-performing behaviors
Designs holistic and globally-relevant competency frameworks and proficiency levels across the organization, businesses, functions, and/or roles
Aligns of definition of success, key metrics, and measurement methods with the Talent Management and Total Rewards COEs
Integrates competency frameworks into HiNext and other talent management systems with HiNext and GBS HR Technology teams
Provides input to BU HR and GBS HR Communications as they communicate competencies and expectations to stakeholder groups
Routinely evaluates collected data and impact of competency frameworks on business and talent outcomes
Refines competency frameworks as challenges are identified and/or business and market priorities shift
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert on designed competencies across the talent management lifecycle
