Job Description
Experience: 11 15 years
Role: Manage Business Finance Function for two Business units
Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of monthly Management P&L for two business units and communicating the same with the Senior Management.
2. Responsible for Reconciliation of Management P&L with the legal P&L.
3. Weekly Forecasting of Management P&L (Revenue, Direct Costs, Gross Margin & EBITDA) for 2 Business units. Forecast is for the fiscal year as well as rolling 12 months and needs to be submitted to management.
4. Develop and own standard costs by location and explain the causes of under recovery/over recovery.
5. Own the internal pricing tool and keep it updated.
6. Develop rate cards for individual accounts and assist Account Managers on annual rate revisions. Participate in SOW Reviews and Commercial discussions.
7. Assist Account Managers with preparation of Rate cards for New Business, Preparation of yearly Pricings, Multiyear pricings. Assist in SOW Finalization.
8. Prepare and submit the Annual Operating Plan for two business units separately. Continuously monitor the current forecast against the AOP. Significant gap against the AOP needs to be pro-actively communicated to management.
9. Prepare G&A budget by Departments on the basis of AOP and communicate the same. G&A Forecast needs to be continuously monitored against the budget.
10. Owner of quarterly sales commission process and incentives of Senior Management. Responsible for calculation of quarterly sales commission and communicating the same to Account Managers. Resolution of disputes.
11. Provide adhoc analysis/reports/information as and when required.
12. Manage Team Member/s.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
1. Clear understanding of difference between Management P&L and Statutory P&L.
2. Should be able to interpret the transactions in Legal P&l and their impact in Management Books. Should be able to connect the dots between the two books.
3. Good Understanding of Intercompany Accounting and it is nice to have some knowledge of transfer pricing and US payroll taxes.
4. Good knowledge of T&M, Milestone based and Fixed Bid Pricings. Should be able to review MSA/SOW from a commercial perspective.
5. Good Excel skills and should be able to work with large volumes of data.
