Job Description: LIMS SpecialistQualification:
- MSc. degree in a Scientific discipline strongly preferred (chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering) or Computer Science.
- Understanding of laboratory processes and methods.
- Prior experience using and configuring LIMS and ELN platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience: 5 12 years of relevant work experience in LIMS
Job Location: Powai, Mumbai
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements gathering and solution review sessions with Core Informatics and internal end users, and assist in writing user requirement documents, including Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and unify requirements across labs and sites.
- Implement configurations on the Core Platform.
- Perform Unit and integration testing of implemented configurations.
- Develop UAT scripts (test cases) for configurations implemented and execute internal UAT.
- Act as Tier 1 support for internal end-users: triage questions from internal team, facilitate resolution, provide platform training and guidance to users on platform navigation, reproduce identified issues and liaise with Core Informatics items that cannot be resolved through additional training or configuration.
- Develop internal SOPs and training materials for platform use.
Requirements:
- PL/SQL development experience and ability to write integration code for integrations to multiple external databases and instruments.
- Ability to write utilities for database transfer between production and test, and comparison of large import files.
- Experience with Oracle database schemas.
- Experience with Spotfire and/or Tableau.
