Lead Database Administrator (Oracle):
Managing the Overall Application Maintenance (US&UK) offshore team & responsible for the delivery of overall Database team. Single point of contact for all technical escalations from offshore
Manage deliverables of all database support for multiple databases and portfolios
Manage client's expectation and on time deliverables
Manage Audit work for US & UK
Manage PAUR Reviews (NG Corporate Audit) UK & US
Manage technologies- Oracle Database, SQL Server, Oracle Cloud, SAP-Oracle, Azure-SQL
Lead a team of more than 10 personnel -spread across US, UK & India- focused on implementing resolutions and updates.
Streamline the process-oriented approach for known database tasks.
Work with Wipro HOLMES to identify & provide Automation use-cases.
Provide efficient support for any P1/P2 incident in the given timeframe and manage escalations from technical standpoint.
Configure and maintain database servers and processes
Monitor system's health and performance
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
Analyse, solve, and correct issues in real-time
Provide suggestions for solutions
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems. Should be able to handle the change process independently.
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
Compute, Network, Storage, and IAM knowledge in the Cloud area.
