Job Description

         Knowledge in MS SQL 2008/2008 R2/2012/2014/2016 Administration.            

         Should have worked in production support environment.

         Knowledge on Installations and Migrations.

         Experience in troubleshooting and performance issues

         Experience with backups, restores

         Knowledge in recovery models

         Handling user permissions and privileges

         Experience in HA Configuration (LS, replication, Cluster and Always on availability group)

         Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.

         Creating maintenance jobs and monitoring logs.

         Knowledge in Data transfer Service Packaging (DTS) and SSIS.

         Experience in Replication configuration

         Experience in Configuring Audit

         Experience in "Always On" feature in SQL 2012

         Familiar with ITIL framework.

         Good communication and documentation skills.

         Knowledge in Capacity Managment Planning

         Knowledge in Backup Strategy Planning.

         Experience in Handling client independently

         Experience in working with Databases on the Cloud (AWS/Azure/ GCP)

         Should mentor junior minds in Team.

         Task oriented, self-initiated and objective driven

         Able to work with minimum supervision as well as perform under pressure and meet tight
deadlines

         Should be able to interact / manage customer independently
