The Role Responsibilities
Financial Performance

  • Support the CEO to monitor/track the financial performance of India.
  • Assist in driving superior financial performance by managing Indias CEO %26amp; others cost budget.

Customer and Franchise Management
  • Assist the CEO to raise the profile of the country both internally and externally.
  • Be a point of contact in CEOs office to give inputs to develop the countrys strategy.
  • Assist the CEO in driving the countrys strategic plan, particularly for the Retail and Commercial segments
  • Handle incoming correspondence for the CEO; approve and prepare replies on his / her behalf.
  • Formulate and drive the CEOs structured calling plan with key clients in alignment with the business strategies and plans.
  • Work with Corporate Affairs to support the CEO in media relations; Plan, prioritise and organise the CEOs involvement in relevant industry forums; Prepare presentations and speaking notes for the CEOs participation in external speaking engagements/participations.
  • Work with/support other functions to organise plan and organise internal events involving the CEO.
  • Undertake/support specific project initiatives, in line with country priorities, to grow the franchise e.g. One-bank agenda.

Corporate Governance
  • As the Recording Secretary of India CMT, ensure that it is an effective forum to deliberate on/decide material and relevant items relating to management/people/business areas to provide direction and support to the country.
  • Participate in the meetings of governance committees, sub-committees and subsidiaries meetings as the CEOs representative.
  • Prepare periodic information reports on the countrys performance across all businesses and functions.
  • Act as the main contact and information source in CEOs office and manage the communication flow with the relevant stakeholders within and outside the Country.
  • Be the main contact for providing information required by the Regional CEOs office
  • Communication/escalation of key risks and issues to the CEO and the Management Team

People and Talent Management
  • Drive an effective communication framework between the CEO and his /her direct reports and CMT and also to all staff; Manage the consistency and effectiveness of information released from the CEOs office.
  • Support and co-ordinate with the local HR function to organise performance and talent management activities for the CEO.
  • Provide support to drive an effective engagement and communication framework from the CEO to all staff.

Knowledge skills and experience:
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years business / functional experience.
  • Creative, confident and professional person with high-levels of drive, ambition and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent attention to detail whilst maintaining the focus on the big picture.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; Ability, adaptability and level-headedness to handle interactions at the seniormost and all other levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to manage numerous intiatives/ deliverables in parallel and deliver in a timely and effective fashion.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Extremely systematic, organized, focused and collaborative approach to work and Living the Values in everyday life.
