Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant Scrum master
Responsibilities
- To facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meeting.
- Resolve conflicts by focusing on scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect.
- Forecast the number of deliverable possible in an iteration based on evidence.
- Estimate and plan for the whole software development project
- Coach the team in agile practices; emphasize on individuals & interactions over process & tools.
- Help the team members in clarifying goals and actions to achieve the goals.
- Shield the team from any distractions and interference.
- Ensure the correct application of the scrum process.
- Scrum Master serves his team rather than direct the team.
- Preference to the candidate having implementation experience on Microsoft Dotnet/ SharePoint/ Power platform projects.
- Mentoring and coaching of graduate staff.
- Seek and resolve production problems with new insights
- Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical partners locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussion around solution/approach etc
Qualifications
Minimum Educational Qualifications
- B. Tech/MCA/Equivalent
Preferred Technical Qualifications/Skills
- Experience in a scrum master role
- Familiarity with software development
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
- Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Crystal, XP etc.)
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
- Proficient Written and verbal communication in English
- Knowledge and experience in Agile / Scrum project
- Excellent client facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations. The person should have a technical curiosity to implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the client
