  • Secure and scalable deployment of applications, software updates, and operating systems.
  • Real-time actions on managed devices.
  • Cloud-powered analytics and management for on-premises and internet-based devices.
  • Compliance settings management.
  • Comprehensive management of servers, desktops, and laptops.

MEMCM is part of the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security Suite (EMS), which is one of the fastest growing enterprise services within Microsoft. As a Group Engineering Manager in MEMCM you will lead engineering teams delivering key features empowering our customers - IT and end-users alike. You will lead a strong set of engineers providing technical and people leadership and fostering a culture of growth mindset and inclusion.
Job responsibilities:
The opportunity as a Group Engineering Manager at MEMCM has three core attributes that are compelling: Organizational Leadership; Technology Leadership and Customer Leadership.

We operate one of the largest code bases in the company, and have rich implementations across technologies and platforms . We partner closely with internal teams across all of M365 and Windows and have deep engagement with external partners.
Customer Leadership: Our team has innovated in our approach for customer connection and engagement. Everyday members of our team are listening to customers and potential customers to deeply understand their needs so that we can deliver results that earn their trust and accelerate their business.

job qualifications:
skills and requirements that are essential for this role:
10+ years of software engineering experience with proven track records of delivering solutions with demonstrated usage
5+ years of organizational leadership and team development
strong product leadership to set clear goals for feature areas and lead the team through rapid product cycles
strong knowledge of object-oriented programming language paradigms
great analytical skills and can leverage insights to drive product improvement and new features
excellent written, communication and cross-team collaboration skills
passion for customer interaction and desire to exceed what our customers demand of us
preferred qualifications:
experience in developing large scale solutions
expertise in distributed systems and/or big data technologies
