Job Description
This position is responsible for working on projects and/or running operations focused on providing structured insights and data based solutions to procurement problems consultatively creating tangible business impact. While direct procurement is the primary domain in focus, over time the role can expand to solving problems across the HPEs GO quote to cash chain like supply chain, sales operations and order management.
Responsibilities in this role include:
- Partner, including on key transformation initiatives, with procurement & operations teams at operating / leadership levels as needed with HPE ecosystem & supplier ecosystem as relevant
- Structure appropriate approaches from problem definition to resolution
- Conduct hands-on analyses & develop insights / predictions on structured & unstructured data including on large data sets
- Prepare spot excel models typically to demonstrate potential of data based insights
- Partner & develop tailored enterprise scale analytics solutions
- Manage the projects / operationalization in a complex ambiguous market environment @ speed managing channels of communication up and across as appropriate - POCs, simulations, presentations, etc.
- Actively drive / participate in getting buy-in at operating and executive levels
- Drive change / institutionalize / transition to operations the to-be processes as needed
- Contribute to broader organizational goals
Key result areas:
- Repeatable standardized solutions as single source of truth & delivering superior user experience
- Internal stakeholder relationships
- Leadership buy-ins.
- Improve operational performance, cash flow improvement and cost reduction
Expected experience / knowledge includes a majority from the following:
- Commodity price risk management, spend & cost analyses, supplier performance analyses, demand / supply visibility, contract management, procure to pay process transformation, forecasting, quantitative & qualitative research.
- Hi-tech industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge on procurement processes, systems & contracts
- Consulting in client-facing delivery roles
- Hands-on skills with common analysis/analytics tools and techniques around optimization, game theory, data handling, forecasting, visualization

Qualifications:
- Graduation in engineering / economics / statistics; post graduate in Management / Economics
- 6 to 8 years of work experience in procurement analytics in operations & consulting
